We offer a range of services that you can come along to from day one!

These are weekly group sessions at our Gateshead and Newcastle Centres. Informal sessions where you can come along for a cuppa and a chat! We encourage all women to attend drop in sessions as they are a fantastic way of keeping up to date with what’s happening as well as receiving support while you are waiting for a place in a support group or on a course.
Gateshead Drop In: Mondays from 10:30-12:00

Creative & Therapeutic Activities

Regular sessions using dance to boost confidence
Make, Do & Share
A circle of women who come together to share their creativity as a way to maintain wellbeing and learn new skills. You do not need to be an expert crafter or writer to join the groups, just come along and let your imagination loose!
Make Do and Share Newcastle meets on Mondays 13:30-15:00 and focusses on crafts
Creative Crafting Group meets on Thursdays 13.30 - 15.30.
Sunday Lunch Group
Fortnightly session where women come together to prepare and share a meal
A monthly session where women discuss books they have read at Gateshead Library
We are able to offer light touch physical activity programmes to help improve mental wellbeing. We often run walks and gardening activity within our drop in sessions and currently provide a Stretch & Flex class at the Gateshead Centre on Fridays 10.30 - 12.30.
Positive Notes Singing Group
A relaxed singing group: we meet termly for 8 week blocks of uplifting group singing led by the super talented Lindsay Hannon of Iceni Music. You don’t have to be an X factor finalist to join, just come along for some feel good tunes in an encouraging and inclusive environment.

TWH have teamed up with holistic health practitioners Shanti Bee, Ways To Wellbeing and independent wellbeing practitioners to bring you a rota of relaxation in our Newcastle centre. Come along to unwind and learn new techniques to tackle anxiety, intrusive thoughts and learn the art of calm.
The Relaxation Rota runs in our Byker Centre on Mondays from 13:45-14:45. Check in at the Centre to find out which activity is running.
