We offer a range of services that you can come along to from day one!
Please always check with a member of staff to ensure you have the up to date schedules for our services. Some of these services include:
Drop In
These are weekly group sessions at our Gateshead and Newcastle Centres. Informal sessions where you can come along for a cuppa and a chat! We encourage all women to attend drop in sessions as they are a fantastic way of keeping up to date with what’s happening as well as receiving support while you are waiting for a place in a support group or on a course.
Creative & Therapeutic Activities
We have a whole range of things to access check out….
Creative Approaches to Wellbeing
A circle of women who come together to share their creativity as a way to maintain wellbeing and learn new skills. You do not need to be an expert crafter or writer to join the groups, just come along and let your imagination loose!
Sunday Lunch Group
Fortnightly session where women come together to prepare and share a meal
Reading Cafe
A monthly session where women discuss books they have read at Gateshead Library

Physical Activity
We are able to offer light touch physical activity programmes to help improve mental wellbeing. We hope to have some new physical activity groups starting soon!
Positive Notes Singing Group
A relaxed singing group: we meet termly for 8 week blocks of uplifting group singing led by the super talented Lindsay Hannon of Iceni Music. You don’t have to be an X factor finalist to join, just come along for some feel good tunes in an encouraging and inclusive environment.
Complementary Therapies
We offer a range of therapeutic activities including Reiki.
