Linked Women is an active group made up of service users, staff and Trustees. The group plays a key role to ensure effective communication throughout the organisation.
Linked Women aims to:
- Promote the involvement of service users to influence policies and decisions at Tyneside Women's Health
- Promote a process for liaison between service users, trustees, management, staff and volunteers
- Promote communication, information, sharing and create opportunities for skills development and awareness
Linked Women meets every 6 weeks. They alternate the meeting venue between Gateshead and Newcastle so that service users from both sides of the Tyne have an opportunity to attend.
Some of the Linked Women attendees have become service user representatives. Their purpose is to be a point of contact for communication between service users, staff, management and trustees.
